Jez: The new driver has been finished for some time, I'm pretty sure that all `registered owners' have been sent a copy, but if your cohort doesn't have it call us tomorrow, or EMAIL me the address and I'll send it right out. We haven't had any bug reports about the new driver so far. (By the way, what kind of problems is he/she having, there wasn't all that much wrong with the initial release, I'm curious?) As for the SCSInet, we are working on it, when we announced it, we said it wouldn't be ready 'til sometime in the 2nd Qtr. But we are making progress on it. We have had to side track to take care of the important things, however. When a customer asks for a special driver we take the time away from SCSInet or some other project to accommodate him. For example, we just finished up a driver for a 800Meg WORM (Optical Disk), can your Byte by Byte handle one? And we are in the final phase of finishing tha driver to run two ST-506 drives off an Adaptec 4070 SCSI controller, allowing back-up from one drive to the other at transfer rates in excess of 500KBytes/sec. It backs-up a 50 Meg drive in 1.6 min. and it all happens without the Amiga even realizing it, because we are doing it as a SCSI function. We are just beginning to tap the possibilities that we have available to us with our SCSI Card. Be patient, if you want it, you'll probably get it, 'cause we're probably workin' on it. E.J. Ed, the bug I reported to you by phone about the Driver not able to handle 'chunks of disk' larger than 128k in a single go! — Jez.

Jez: That's not been a major problem so far, being as AmigaDOS never sends chunks that big, but we fixed it this week and will get you an updated version as soon as we are sure everything still works. E.J. Lippert II C Ltd. – (316) 267-6322
