#SCSI extras

Hello Ed, I recently purchased one of your SCSI controllers, and first let me
say that I too was not too impressed with the way the SCSI cable exits the
case. I also was not made aware, when I ordered, that there was an optional
DB25 connector that could have come installed in my unit..little late now.
Anyway, 'nuff chewin on the bone'; I haven't installed the unit yet, but I'm
eectinother parts soon. Lastly, I vote YESre: SCSInetwork/EX
Ron,
You message to Ed cam through hopelessly mangled. It looks like you may
have entered too many characters without a <CR>, which CIS doesn't really like.
Try to give a CR about every 80 characters or so, and it should come through
fine.
Regards, Larry.
Ron:
It is up to your dealer to sell you options like the DB-25. If
you want the connector, leave me your address in EMAIL and I'll send
you one. We normally charge $20.00 for the DB-25, installed with the
matching MacIntosh cable. If you want the Cable, I'll sell you one
for $10.00, but you'll have to put the DB-25 on the board yourself.
We have a new case that uses the DB-25 and the Mac type cable
and are now using that format as our default, and are charging $20.00
for the 50 conductor ribbon cable option now! Yes the cable exit
system was a poor (afterthought?) design, so we are doing it different
noe by using the Mac type cable. As we get response from our customers
we learn and improve. That's why I spend so much time here on Amiga
Forum, we appreciate customers like you who take the time to gripe
when things could have been done better. Hopefully, the end result of
all this will be a product that is as nearly perfect as we can make it.
A lot of folks have griped about the cosmetics (looks) of
our products, so we are doing something about it. If you have any
other suggestions for improvements, please continue to bring them
to our a, Thanks Again!
