I'm awaiting my 40meg hard drive from you guys, and I'd like to know if file fragmenting is a possible problem on your drives. Thank you.

Bryan: All Back Ordered drives larger than 20 MEG (includes yours I would assume) will be shipped by Monday. Not exactly sure what you mean by `File Fragmentation' ? Individual file handling is normally an AmigaDOS function. AmigaDOS automatically fragments files, we have no way to make it, or stop it! If however you are referring to Drive partitioning, that is splitting a 40 Meg Drive into two 20Meg Drives or two 10's and a 20, Yes we fully support it. In fact our manual spends several pages on the how, why and benefits of partitioning of hard drives. Sectioning a drive into several smaller units allows many things, not the least of which is the ability to back-up from one section to another, and the ability to re-format each partition independantly of the other(s).
