Hello,
I need some help with TextCraft and downloaded text files. My friend and
I are writing a book and I would like to download his work form a local BBS
which he uploaded to. The download went okay but when I tried to load it into
textcraft it wouldn't take it. or even say that it was their. Can someone tell
me how to get TextCraft to reconize a downloaded file or, possible, how to make
a *.info file for it?

The easiest way is to invoke TextCraft from CLI:
1> textcraft file_name where "file_name" is the name of your text file.
Then you can save it as a standard TextCraft file for future editing or save it
again as plain text.
