Do you have any tips on loading word perfect onto a hard disk? I followed
the book but every time I attempt to run word perfect my system crashes. Can
you tell me what I am doing wrong. I got this version of word perfect from
the Amiga 500 promotion. I think it is the first release. Are there any
obvious bugs associated with installing it on a hard disk?
P.S. If you don't know me by now, I and using an A2000 with a ST238 30 meg
harddisk and bridgeboard./exit \exit
Odell, there's a file in DL2 (AMIGA.TXT) from Wordperfect Corp. on upgrading.
There is also an 800 number contained in the file. They should be able to
help you. I don't have WP or a hard disk so I can't help out further than
pointing you toward the file.
There are problems with putting the WP on hard disk but I've found that most
liein that you MUST do the assignments properly. I've also fou
found that the fonts and printer program tend to make the program crash. What
city are you located in ? I've installed mine but had some pr problems that
have been corrected.
