2400 baud Modems

I'd like to buy a 2400 baud modems, and I can't decide between the 4 cheapest
brands that are carried by Abel Supplies: Avatex ($169.22), Practical
Peripherals 2400SA ($188.36), SupraModem 2400 ($143.42) or Packard Bell
PB2400 PLUS ($187.16).
Does anyone know what different features do the modems have? Are they
all Hayes compatible? Other than Hayes compatibility, do they have other
features (such as non-volatile memory for phone #s)? Can anyone recommend a
particular model? The Supra is the cheapest, but I can't help wondering
what's the catch?
I'd appreciate any input.

I have the Avatex 2400 modem and have no complaints. It is %100 Hayes
compatible. The price looks good too!

From my own experience…there is no catch, the Supra is a fine
modem. I've had one for a few weeks now and it's performed flawlessly. It is
Hayes compatible, does have non-volitile storage of parameters and 1 phone
number.
