Karl, I am using a Yamaha DX-100 with DMCS and it also crashes the system
sometimes. How do you convert SoundScape files to SMUS format? I can convert
SMUS files to SoundScape tracks using the converter program supplied with
SoundScape but I can't convert things such as SimpleDemo from SScape to SMUS.
Also, it is kinda strange that there are so many fonts listed in the Fonts menu
on DMCS but only 4 of those fonts are available for use (even if you boot DMCS
from a workbench disk). I agree it is a great program but it has a lot of
things that have to be worked out. I just hope I'll be able to upgrade when
they work those problems out! — Fred —

Have you noticed under what conditions your DX-100 crashes DMCS? Every time I
stop entering notes from the DX and delete a note or two, and go back to enter
some more, it blinks the Amiga's status indeicator about once a second and just
hangs there. I've never seen that failure indication on any package; very
peculiar, and MOST annoying! <sheepishly> But then, I haven't gotten through
the whole manual yet, either. Having too much fun to read the instructions!
What are your thoughts on uploading DMCS representations of more recent
pieces (read "copywritten")? Is this permitted do ya think?
