#Laser Video Discs?
2 messages in this thread
Gentle people,
(I only recently subscribed to CompuServe, so forgive me if these topics
have come up in the past.)
Does anyone know of any Amiga software to control Laser Video Discs?
(Surely I can't be the only one who saw the beautiful match of Amiga with
Genlock and CAV.)
Am I really going to have to take a hacksaw to VT100? (That takes care of
custom screens, function buttons, asynchronous serial i/o, scripting and
maybe timer queues.) Does anybody know of a good PD program with
bob/mouse/joystick code?
Is there a CS Forum oriented twoard interactive video? (I can't find one
with even a generic video specialization, other than cpu specific ones like
ours.)
Are there any BBSs that are oriented twoard LV or interactive video?
(Surely the overlap in interests can't be THAT small.)
Is there any possibility that EA will actually port any of their CD-I
applications to the Amiga? Would this necessarily imply a port of OS9?
I guess I'll save a few questions for next time. 🙂
Thanks a lot,
Selden
There is a bran new forum on CI$ for CD-Rom. Just type "go cdrom" and yu
will be there. CD-I is being discussed all the time on that forum.
