Has anybody heard about RemRAD guruing if you use two RAD:'s ? Also, RAD:
doesn't seem to boot if I have the second RAD1:. (I realize your not
_supposed_ to have 2, but what the heck… =>8v) More to the point, maybe
it's time for someone to detail the order of booting under 1.3. (And what
the BootPri value means to KickStart.)
MAJOR FLAME: The single most important addition to 1.3 was autobooting
(IMHO) and yet it is virtually undocumented by C-A. Everyone seems to
praise the 1.3 doc, but if they're praising the 'Enhancer' manual then
forget it. It's much better than the 1.1, 1.2 stuff, but that doesn't say
much… To leave out autobooting in the 1.3 doc is unforgivable.
The BootPri value determines the order of the autoboot. The values
range from -129 to 127, -129 means to disable autoboot. The machine will
boot from the device with the highest BootPri, no value specified for
BootPri defaults to 0 (ZERO). If more than one device has the highest
priority, then the device furthest to the right in your machine (A2000)
will be the booted device. (BTW, RAD is defined as being the furthest to
the right at whatever priority it is set to) Look at page 3-3 in the 1.3
enhancer manual.
In addition to what Dean suggests you might try examining the 1.3 autodocs.
