#VIP on hard drive

I am attempting to put VIP Professional spreadsheet on my hard drive but everytime I attempt to start it, it asks for df30. Placing it in RAM and renaming RAM to df30 works fine, but does not work when I install it on the hard drive. Can anyone offer help? Robert

Robert, Assign df30: to the directory on the hard drive where VIP resides. Note you need the colon at the end. Don

Have you tried adding : Assign df30: hd0: to your startup-sequence? Or whatever the two paths actually are. ……Betty

Ok, thanks, I forgot to use the df30: with colon, that should work. Robert
