"Need more input…"
I recently was *rereading* my copy of AC's GUIDE//AMIGA, Fall '89. Did
anyone catch the product announcement on pp 150 about a C-1500 by C Ltd?
If no, I guess we're done. If yes, what do you know about it? Is it real??
(Come to think about it, is ANY of this "real"?) 🙂
Not to mention "The Journeyman" on same page.
Does C Ltd have a vendor account or rep hereabouts on CIS???
Thanx,
>>Jim
Jim,
C. Ltd is bankrupt. Out of business. No longer in existance. Or
any other way you want to put it.

The Journey Man is longer being made. The demand wasn't there and the
company couldn't supply the keind of machine that a portable Amiga should
be. The company in Germany mentioned in AMigaWorld seems to have things
under control. It is a real laptop like we wanted to make but didn't have
the money for R.
ALso heard you might have a little prob getting things out of C Ltd.
Appears they may not be in business any more. But that is just a rumor I
hears and am not confirming this.
Thanks Mike Mo Micro Momentum, Inc. P.S. We decided to stick with striaght
software for now.
Mike, C Ltd. IS out of business. It is definite.

In the back (or maybe its the middle) of the latest AmigaWorld there are
lists (short lists) of companies who have picked up some of the C-Ltd
stuff.
B&B Electronics (2863 S. Broadway, Witchita, KS 67216, fax:316/522-0914)
offers limited customer service including repair for current C. Ltd.
products.
Newly-formed Ricketts, Inc. will continue development of former C. Ltd.
products such as C-View, RAM expansion devices, and a modified Laser
Express in parallel format. Ricketts owner Breck Ricketts plans to develop
an audio-visual line, as well.
(The above was taken w/o permission from "Ear to the Wall" in the April '90
issue of Amiga World.) [page 108]
