I found the same thing; bb disc access being much faster with blitz running
in most cases.

Ron, does BlitzDisk work on Hard Drives? I have in mind using it with my
Amiga HD.

That's what Blitzdisk is best at. I blitz my hd, inlcuding the BB
partition.

Yes – BlitzDisk works VERY well with hard drives, especially my
Bridgeboard virtual drive.
