Judi, Get him a Mac! <grin> I taught my similarly-inclined husband to use the computer while he was watching a 49er football game! He still doesn't love it, but at least he's stopped talking about naming it co-respondent in the divorce! A spreadsheet program, a few games, and he's now using it, too! —— Susan

My husband pays the bills, so I bought him Quicken. Being the compulsive sort that he is, he absolutely *relishes* having all that information right at his fingertips! (Quicken is a simple financial planning/bill paying program). He also uses the computer to access his computer at work (he's a pilot for American)-he can check his bids for the next month, see who he's flying with, list himself for his commuting flights, and do other work-related paperwork on our home computer. But he doesn't play on CIS at all. Like you, I checked out the forum I thought he would be interested in–AVSIG–and he seemed curious, but not enough to *Learn Something New*. Ah well…as you said, it's not terribly important in the big scheme of things, though. I guess I'll forgive him this one character flaw <grin>. Dianne

Susan: Don't mention football in my house! Until the Chicago Bears won the Superbowl, my husband NEVER watched team sports, especially football. Then all of a sudden he was a fan! It was horrible. I'm glad the Bears did so bad this year. Maybe this will cure him. Judi

Judi, I hope your husband isn't as cranky as mine is when his team loses! Luckily, being 49er fans, we haven't had that problem recently <g>! But after one lousy play, or the other team scoring first, Dave's ready to give up the game, turn the set off, fire the coach, and shoot the quarterback! But then, when Joe starts working his 2-minute drill and wins the game, all is forgiven! —– Susan P.S. Go Niners!

Susan – Aw, gosh! I thought that this would be the one place where I would be safe from all the super bowl hoopla! :-0 — don
