Does anyone out there have any advice on using a hard drive in an Expansion Technology ToolBox hooked up to an Amiga 500? I want to get a hard card that will also work with an A2000 on up, but I don't know which to get. . .I've heard some manufacturers (MicroBotics?) don't recomend their cards in an unbuffered Zorro II expansion chassis. . .what about Supra?. . .GVP?. . .??? The configuration we have on the A500 using the toolbox is 1 Meg internal, 6 Meg external (on a MicroBotics 8-UP! SIMM board), 1 external CA-880 floppy, a modem, the ToolBox (the version with the 'hefty' power supply), and last and least a Seagate ST-157N hard drive on Expansion Technology's Flash!Card. It's the Flash!Card we want to replace. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! R. G. Marquez ECHiDNA \|// _oo //

Greg, Supra did a redesign of the ToolBox for Expansion Technology. Our boards are now correctly supported by the current ToolBox. To check the vintage of your unit, you need to contact Expansion Technology. Regards, Clark Supra Technical Support
