In the tuesday New York Times there is an advertisement for the Multimedia Expo towards the end of March at the new york hilton. Guess who is on the list of companies "making a special presentation"? Commodore has apparently gotten its act together. After saving money and passing on the NCGA show, they are not only showing up at a multimedia expo, they are making a presentation. The list only had about 7 companies.

CBM is also exhibiting at FOSE (Federal Office Systems Exhib? or something like that) at the Wash DC Convention Centr – I think it starts the day after AmiExpo ends. BTW, for the info of anybody coming to AmiExpo, the weather is supposed to be great – mostly sunny high 70's cool nights – and the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Chance of a shower, Fri and Sat. Now I should warn you that weather forecasts for Wash DC are very unreliable. Rob.

Correction–The weather *is* great. It's about 30 degrees above normal here in Danbury, CT(about 1 hour from NYC) and it is warmer here than in Miami(thumbing nose at Fla.). John

Hey, hey! Just 'cause you get ONE warm day you thumb your nose at we the chosen ones in Florida?! The high temp has been in the low '80s for the last two weeks here (warmer than that can get stifiling), so nyah! Besides, didn't you here that Mouseville (Orlando) got a WLAF team? (No, it doesn't stand for We LAF). Rah! Rah! Zzzzzzzzzzz… -Chas (Comparing skin tone to those in New England…)

Chas: Over Christmas I went to Gainseville to vist my daughter and new grand daughter. It dropped to 11 degrees F while we were there, and included a rather feisty ice storm. I think you guys just pretend to ahve good weather, so you can lure us Yankees down there, and then sell us overpriced and underperforming gloves, sweaters, etc. (grin) Ray Lewis

Ah, yes. You think you had it bad? I got MARRIED on Dec. 23 of last year (an OUTDOOR wedding at 11:00 am!) and it was 20 degrees out! The coldest day of the year. Still, it is nice here and while we had a week of weather like that, you have months. -Chas
