Just when you thought it was safe…
Now I have another problem.
I keep getting Guru Meditations when using Whap!
This is what I do. After loading Whap!(I have no other files multitasking,
btw), I have it get new messages. Then it goes online, and does what I
have asked it to. Then, after it has logged me off, I get a Guru.
The real problem with this is that the message headers are saved to RAM,
and I have no way of retrieving the headers, or even the previous high
message number.
This has happened to me twice, once today, and once yesterday. Yesterday,
I thought it was because I had Diskmaster and Scribble! active in the
background, so today I went solo, and it still did the same thing.
Any ideas or suggestions?

If running from the CLI, increase the stack size to 20000. Don't put the
message headers in ram.

You've lost me. I'm not all THAT computer literate, at least not A500
literate.
Stack size?
I don't run from the CLI, if by that you mean I start Whap! that way. I
just click on the icon to load it.
As to not putting the message headers in ram…how does one do that?
Change the TempFile location to my data disk, not ram? <I did this just
now, so we'll soon find out!>

go to the whap icon, select it <click only once> and then select info
from the first menu of workbench. You'll get a new window with several
items in it. The one your interested in is the Stack gadget. If the
number next to Stack isn't 20000, click in the gadget and change it to
20000. Then click on the save gadget at the bottom.

Click once on the icon and then move the mouse up and choose INFO from the
leftmost menu. Look in the upper left quadrant of the screen and find the
work STACK. Change the number in that blank to 50000. Then, click on SAVE
at the bottom of the screen, THEN, try Whap! again. That will set it to
always have the stack of 50000.
