I am working with SONIX.. AMAS and MUSIC X… Nomatter what I try I cannot get a Sample made on AMAS to MUSIC-X.. I am saving them as IFF files, but Music X doesn't seem to be importing the sound.. (Only the title of the sample) Help… I need to start projects and I'm being held back.. Who are the MIDI experts in this forum? Thanks…. Jay Herzog 73747,662

Yes, or better yet a sequencer with a true music notation editor. Then you could just type the stuff right into the sequencer and forget about DMCS. That's what I was hoping Tiger Cub might prove to be. Just another sequencer we hardly need…

Jay, Have you tried importing the sample into Sonix? Is the sound sampled in stereo? Are you certain that you've created an IFF INSTRUMENT and not just a sampled sound? I don't have SONIX or AMAS, but I do have Perfect Sound and Music-X. If you'd like to E-mail the sample to me, I'll see what I can find out. It's difficult to say more without having a copy of the sample. David
