An associate has recently bought PRO VIDEO GOLD (by Shereff Systems) and wishes he had NOT ! Seems the only way to run the program is from CLI. As he has a hard disk – booting with Workbench, he is in a quandry. He does not want the computer to boot up in CLI from the hard disk, as he has all sorts of good stuff booting from Workbench. At the moment the only way he can use Pro Video Gold is to boot with the program floppy disk – terribly slow and miserable! Worse yet – on the program one has to try and remember a registration number before the rotten thing will run at all. QUESTION……. Has anyone come up with this problem – and is there any way he can boot up in the usual way – and then get the P.Video Gold to run ???? All the best, Hilary.

In addition to the other replies here, have your friend keep his eyes open for their new (shipping-real-soon-now) product, ProVideo Post. It has some new features and *does* start from WB instead of the CLI. Pete

Thanks Pete. Will most certainly see that he knows that there is a new edition on its way. Would SOLVE matters quickly! All the best, Hilary.
