A.M.A.S. sampler

George,
I don't have A.M.A.S. but if you've started the recording process properly,
it sounds like the level might be too low. Does AMAS (I'll skip the periods
for now 😉 have any type of level setting on it? If it's software
controlled, you might have to strike a key and speak into the mic in order
for the ALC to work.
Hope this helps. 8)

David,
AMAS does not have a software selectable volume control. I haven't used
the sampler side in awhile (since I've been using its MIDI interface with
my new toys :')), but all I remember doing is plugging in a mike, and
hitting the AMAS software's record button. It was all very
straight-forward. I missed the beginning of this. What's his sound source?

The Brain Temple eh? As to the Temple object, I was expecting something
along the lines of an old Stone Temple like the Inca's had. It's a Very
Modern Temple. Haven't rendered it yet but the Wireframe looks quite
impressive. Will upload tommorow if time permits.
An Inca temple might be easy to model – just a bunch of stairs <g>. No, I not
going to be trepaning the brain anytime soon. I just thought that my modeled
brain might look very fine floating amoung marble columns etc.

Sounds like we have the makings of a grade B horror flick,"I Was A Teenage
PD Brain Who Found My Marbles". *8)

Now we have a title at least – but is there a plot?
Hey! They always come up with a snappy title before they even begin to
contemplate a plot. Sometimes, they don't even get to the plot. *8)

Whats "trepaning' ?????? The Model itself of an Inca Temple Would be easy
to model, it's getting the Texture right that would be a pain IMHO.
If I EVER get time I'll attempt modeling a Inca Temple and mapping it to
look realistic.
Haul out your dictionary – primitive brain surgery for whatever the
problem is. I've been spinning some columns and have had pretty good
luck with Worley's veined marble. Try fracturing or fractalizing a
few of the adjacent steps etc. and then join'm. It leaves a little
space and makes stone look more masonary or something.
Great idea
