Hi All.
I am new to this conference and would appreciate some pointers to the
topics I am most interested in. These are: Color Pre-Press/Separation, and
Scanner Controllers.
My company, ASDG Incorporated, offers products in these areas. In fact,
some notable points include: color separation 6 times faster than the
better software on the Mac II, and we predated OPI with something very
similar by a good six months.
Why haven't you heard of us? Well, probably because our products run only
on the Amiga personal computer. While I am quite proud of our relationship
with the Amiga, I am not blind. One of the things I'd really like to know
about is the state-of-the-art in color pre-press on other platforms.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Not to sound repetitive, but please check out the DCS specification
uploaded in the Hi-Res library.

I have done so and thank you for the pointer. Perhaps I need to reread it
in a more suitable environment (ie: not a quick glance on-line), but it
didn't seem to be extensive enough to be terribly useful. I'll download and
review again so I can offer better educated comment.
