Just got a flyer for the "World of Amiga" show in New York. You'll want to attend to see "The world premiere of the Video Toaster by New Tek, so top secret that we aren't allowed to say more until showtime." Tee hee. — Art

I'm surprised you find that amusing. It has to make a appearance soon, so WOA is a good start in Amiga shows. Also, rumor has it will also be shown at the NAB (broadcasters) show… Lou

They've been showing the Toaster in various forms for years. I saw it last year at the NY Amiexpo. Ben

Explaining the joke mode: The Toaster would be described politely as "an open secret," and strictly as "oft shown, never sold." Hence, calling it "Top Secret," a phrase better describing … whoops, almost gave it away … well, it's a surprising choice of words.

It's amusing not because I doubt it will appear but because of the term "world premiere" when some incarnation of the darn thing has been shown for a couple years now at many shows. — Art
