I am looking for Kermit protocol source code and someone told me that they remembered seeing it in a past DDJ. Can anyone remember the issue or help me get source code? Thanks!

Mike, A version of Kermit exists for damned near every machine made. Which one do you want? There are probably from several to several hundred Kermits available here on CIS alone. Tell us which machine and operating system you need it for and we'll be able to help.

Thanks! I need Kermit source code for an application I am developing under OS/2 1.2 Communications Manager……If I can get hold of a DOS Kermit source code I can convert over from there. I am using a PS/2 Model 70 so I need Kermit for PC. YOur assistance is greatly appreciated. Mike

Mike, Then the first place I'd look is IBMCOMM. If they don't have it and don't know where to get it (unlikely, but anything's possible), let me know and I should be able to FTP it from Columbia University.

Mike, "Kermit Meets Modula-2" by Brian Anderson appeared in the May '89 issue. Brian is working on another Kermit meets OS/2 article for us. Check back with me in a couple of weeks. — MF
