Craig Its been a while, tried to call you 2 or 3 times but you wer busy. I have a question about the flicker fixer, does the ICD produce the border that the Microway does?? I am in the process of getting a Panasonic 1381 and an ICD board. I know the monitor plugs into your 9 pin adapter, but can I also put a cable between my computer and monitor for anything the board won't support???? any help or comments are welcome, and if you think the 1381 is not good enough let me know its on back order till next wk. HEY for $389 it looked good to me……. THANKS JERRY

Flicker free video with most monitors will still have a black border. You can overscan more with FFV than with the other product. If your monitor will run at 15.75 KHz horizontal scan, then it should work with the normal Amiga output. It needs to do 31.5 KHz horizontal to work with FFV. Craig

Thanks I ordered the Panasonic and I hope it turns out ok. I need to hook it up until I get the FFV. I was told the FFV is backordered everywhere, but I won't get the money till April or May, maybe the BO will be fixed and the prices DOWN a LITTLE!! THanks again jerry

Jerry, Unless I am mistaken, the Panasonic 1381 does not scan down to 15.75 KHZ. However, the more expensive 1391 does. Nick

Thanks for the info, do you know how much more this unit cost?? And do you know ithe additional features? I quess I'm saying do you know the specs, or MAYBE have one, its not too late for me to look elsewhere… I finally saw a SONY 1302 and a flicker fixer in operation and I was impressed [to say the least] THERE WAS NO BORDER like they described on some other brands so I'm really in the dark now. MAYBE I should get an IBM and be in a cave along with the rest… THANKS LOADS JERRY

Jerry, Sorry, I don't own one. I am just familiar with the specs as I have been shoping for a new monitor lately. The 1391 seemed very similar to the Nec 3-D in its specs. It costs about $100 more than a 1381. As for myself, after months of shoping I have finally ordered a NEC 3-D.
