}iThe problem is NOT that the colours are dithered but rather that NO color is displayed. There is ONLY a B&W dithered pattern! Furthermore when creating a custome{_ color NO color is displayed on a monitor, e.g. 100% cyand (or any other color) is not cuyan but rather a B&W…

LC890 Utility Message #7649
From: larry buckmaster Forum: Adobe January 4, 1989 11:31 PM
David, I've uploaded LC890.ARC to this forum. It'll take a couple of days I think, the sysop has to take a look at it first. Now if we can only get a utility to switch some of the other things…. like which bin the printer should use.
From: Myron Havis Forum: Adobe January 4, 1989 10:45 PM
Bill, If you're using MSWORD there are two great Postscript drivers available inthe MSAPP Forum. PSPPRD.ARC & PSLPRD.ARC. These allow bin switching via software and have 20 different font size selections. I agree with you about the courtesy of the NEC tech support people. Unfortunately, they don't seem to get…

Dale, There is a new product from Taylored Graphics called FontLiner. It will convert any Fontographer-generated font (which means all fonts on the Mac except those from Adobe and Bitstream) into an Adobe Illustrator file. The character set of the font is converted to an Illustrator graphic which can then…

Bill, I beg to disagree with you about whose responsibility it is to support how to use printer-specific functions. If you're having problems with how to change paper trays, it's your PRINTER MANUFACTURER'S responsibility to provide either software or panel controls to make such changes. It can't be Adobe's. There…

IBM/Mac Differences Message #7643
From: Keith Sprunger Forum: Adobe January 4, 1989 9:29 PM
I am using a local print shop to print some PageMaker output for me. They take my MS-DOS disk and convert it to Mac, then print on laser printer. However, some of the Adobe names seem to be different on my IBM than theirs on the Mac (also Adobe). For…

I couldn't see the difference in the fax, but that's interesting to know. More and more I'm operating on the assumption that the problem is TOPS. Is there anyway you can upgrade to 2.1 and see if you still have the problem? I don't think there's any charge for the…
