#9398 TROUBLE IN MIND Message #9400
From: Steve Ahlstrom Amiga Arts · Applications January 5, 1989 9:16 PM
I just downloaded LABELB.ZOO using QB protocol — no problems at all. The file does unZOO properly. It is a .ZOO file, not a .ARC file. You'll find ZOO in Lib 4 of AmigaTech.

#9286 NEW IRQ VIRUS Message #9316
From: Betty Clay/SYSOP Amiga Arts · Applications January 4, 1989 10:48 AM
May I add to this message of Stan's the same information I put in another sector – just in case you might miss that one. As an addition to Stan's file, you might want to get SYSCHK.ARC from Lib14 of AmigaTech. It will do what one of the articles in…
#NEW IRQ VIRUS Message #9286
From: Stan Kalisher (Impulse) Amiga Arts · Applications January 3, 1989 10:29 PM
I just uploaded a file to DL10 called IRQKILL.ARC. This arcfile contains the programs you will need to deal with the new IRQ VIRUS. This virus is particularly nasty as it attaches itself to executable programs, especially those in the C: directory. ARC contains VIRUSX 3.0 and KV. the Arc…

getting into MicroFiche Filer AREXX programs should be aware of a couple bugs I've found (so far). First, if your macro is acting weird, especially if you're getting syntax errors that are obviously bogus try running the macro from outside MFF as ".rexx" program, as opposed to a ".mffm" program.…

Karl, Let me know how TS and GVP turn out for you. I found another problem with Sculpt-Animate 4D where it keeps crashing the machine when I attempt to render a very simple scene without sky or ground. I'm not sure where this one comes from – the GVP, SA-4D,…

Wayne, The "obese" Agnes ship does require 1 modification to the MOtherboard. there is a solder jumper that has to be cut. THough I am really not trying to 'Flame' them, we have had a number of calls from users who calima (Claim) a variety of problems with the GVP…

Karl, If its any consolation, SuperViewII works OK (SVII.ARC just showed up in the libs – 9 I think). It doesn't have all the neat wipes but at lest it will show an entire directory of images. wmc

Karl, I didn't install the 1.3 KS ROM then try to run before putting the GVP ROM's in the controller card (didn't wnat to open the beasty twice if I could help it). So, I don't have proof positive that its the 1.3 KS ROM only that causes the difficulty,…

Stan, You mentioned in one of your notes about ShoWiz that you had a pre-release 1-meg Agnes. Was this a direct (lift out plug in) replacement for the existing chip or where soldering/motherboard changes required? Also note that now ShoWiz quit working for me since I installed 1.3 KS and…

Betty, I found what I think is the old SuperView (UL'd in Feb). I thought I had seen a message form someone that the new version had been uploaded as SVII.ARC but I don't seem to be able to locate a file by that name. Do you know what the…

Karl, Amazed me. But when I took out MemWatch, they stopped. I can't help believing that MemWatch and something else I was running were interfering with each other. Anyway, it worked for me. Any time I start getting gurus or crashes, I take out everything I'm using that stays in…

Karl, I use SuperView one at a time regularly. My icons automatically store ":c/Superview" as the default tool, and my disks always have a c directory that contains SuperView. My icon is stored in an icon file that I use with ICONMK2. And at show time, I just click on…

Gregg – what you say about rates is true, but misleading. To get the low rates on PLINK, you must first have PCPursuit, and that is $25 per month, after a hefty membership fee. QLink is $10 for the first hour each month, $4.80 for each additional hour, but the…
3-D Cad Message #6024
From: craig wolanyk Amiga Arts · Applications November 2, 1988 7:51 PM
I presently own Aegis Draw Plus and I'm using it heavily. I like the program but the lack of 3-D drawing is bothering me. Is there a CAD progam that allows for 3-D drawings (Like the VIEW command in AutoCad). PS. If there isn't such a program, I have to…

From: RON TROY Amiga Arts · Applications October 22, 1988 8:08 PM
That was the missing link. I'm afraid that reading the docs I don't get a strong understanding of the setup. I'll keep playing with it until I'm satisfied. Ron

Did you set up a path to S: before trying the script file? It worked for me and I'm using conman as newcon: with the shell. Fred
#2381 Cel Animator Message #2387
From: Mike Berro Amiga Arts · Applications October 20, 1988 9:12 PM
"Just a page flipper"? Hmmph! 8) The text of a short brochure is in DL10. It is a page-flipper, with features useful for creating cel-style animations. It has a pencil-test mode for quickly checking animation movements. Each frame leaves an outline "trail" so you can track the movement of each…

screen fonts Message #6062
From: dick hanna Amiga Arts · Applications October 16, 1988 12:16 AM
I am looking for a source of seen representations of fonts from the Adobe type library that I can use in desktop publishing applications on my Amiga computer using Gold Disk's Professional Page software. Anyone know where I might find this? Is there any way to convert Postscript screen fonts…
