The last version of 3D Studio just shipped about 2 weeks ago. There probably aren't many people with R4 that want to get rid of it at this point. Your best bet would be to try the the Autodesk Forum at Go ASOFT.

Frank, DTA and VFD will create FLI and FLC anims from an image series. VFD also creates AVIs. Both are in the Animation Sources lib archived as DTA.ZIP and VFD.ZIP -Bob

Visitor, While not animated, the "Imagemaps" library in our Graphics Developers Forum (GO GRAPHDEV) is devoted to images you can use with very little in the way of permissions. Most use is already granted, so you can be on your way quickly!
