John, The MS Windows NT dual boot should mot cause any Optimize conflicts. The symptoms you are describing indicate that your SCSI adapter is causing the conflict. Loading the VDS (USPI14.SYS) driver after DOSDATA.SYS but before QEMM386.SYS will resolve the conflict. Another solution is to download and install the ULTRAF.ZIP…

1) Download the Ultrafix file from this forum. 2) run the QEMM setup program and make sure DOSDATA isn't loading. that always causes my 34F to hang. 3) if that doesn't work, try setting the parameters without using Optimize. I had to do it that way just because I needed…
