Mike, You may want to take a look at the Norton utilities. It is a commercial product that allows you great flexibility in accessing disk data at a low level, and is very highly regarded in the PC world. Hope this helps….Bob

Jim, Yes, you can edit another document while printing. The Amiga is, after all, a multi-tasking machine. WP actually managed this feat on single-tasking machines (like Messy-DOS), but with the Amiga it wasn't such a herculean task.
You betcha! Don't notice it until you need to access the disk (especially writes), and then the world stops! On writes, it's even more annoying in that the write occurs in two cycles, so the program continues along and then HALTS momentarily as the allocation blocks are rewritten. Real annoying…

Unfortunately, the C-Ltd driver runs at priority 20, and you DON'T want to be running higher than that! You probably do want to be running at a higher priority than your BBS software, though.
That's true, Jim, but the 'AMIGA' driver supplied does not know any formatting commands. It's useful for printing to a file, but you lose things like bold and underlines.
