Well, it's scarin' the cr*p out of me!!!…Dave
I think if a vendor had any brains at all he would have a person in his company who's job it was to monitor CIS Sigs and take notes on what the users wish lists were and then make a product that fit those wishes, simple and, I suspect, lucrative…Dave

Don, I have tried the method of copying that you suggested (copy df1: to DF2: all) and is suspect one needs to have more than drives 0 & 1. Of course I changed it to "COPY DF1: TO DF0: ALL" WHEN I DID it but kept gettinga reqester for the…

Don, I have tried both methods that you suggested and gotten the same result each time. "Cannot read AHOST disk" it gets as far as track 1 and quits. The programs run OK from the disk but I can't copy it. Guess it's time for the commands to copy one…

Folks, I have been trying to get a good transfer of files from a M100 to the Amiga using AHOST (which works fine with the modem). At all baud rates tested (1200 on up) the information becomes scrambled and unformatted as though CRs are being stripped. Any help on this…

Right. The X-10 unit gets programmed and disconnected from the computer so it doesn't tie anything up…Dave
Don, wrong, the X-10 programmable module is only $19.90 from DAK and Doug just came up with an Amiga program that will do the ob, so I'm home free ($20.00 free that is)…Dave
Doug, does it allow saves to disk of your schedule? If so, I'll be needing it! DAK sells the programmable interface for $19.90. Thanks for the response…Dave
Aha! ok, I'll pass the word along!…Dave
Ken, what I want to do is have a X-10 program that will run on the Amiga. DAK sells several versions two of which are the Commodore and the IBM version. I'm trying to decide which I should buy. At this point it looks like the IBM version would be…
So I should go with the IBM compatable version of the X-10 program then and use TRANSFORMER. Do you know of a place that is selling TRANSFORMER without the drive?…Dave
Ken, is there a way for you to verify is the Imagewriter ribbon is the one we need?…Dave
Man, I'm glad I came in on this where I did. Looks like just the right time!…Dave
Duuuh….I never thought of that! Would this be the same drives used for the IBM emulator? If so, I can use the ones I have, no?…Dave
