From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Off the Cuff September 9, 1987 8:02 PM
I wasn't aware that subdirectories couldn't be ARC'd. Thanks again.
Probe.ARC Message #84274
From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Off the Cuff September 8, 1987 7:14 PM
Thanks for your additional instructions! With your help I got the disk to run. One question: Why wasn't the disk "ARC'd" as a working disk instead of going through the creation of directories and renaming/executing files?
#83929 Probe.ARC Message #83986
From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Off the Cuff September 7, 1987 10:20 AM
Thanks, Don. That sounds an awful lot like what I did the first time but I'll try again. I probably left out one step and, with computers, that's all it takes to screw everything up. I'm looking foward to seeing the demo being as it took 2 hours to download…

From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Off the Cuff September 6, 1987 4:24 PM
Could someone please help me assemble the "Probe" disk that appears in DL16? I've looked through the "Probe.TXT" file and followed the instructions but the program does nothing when I execute it. Thanks.

#75726- #"ATASCII" anyone? Message #75867
Thanks for the information. I'd've thought that with all the former Atari owners on SIG and writing Amiga software that an ATASCII terminal program would be kicking around.

I just got the insider. Good price & good hardware. What I want to know is how you like the CTS 2400 baud modem?!
#72054- Amiga Dealers Message #72065
From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Hardware June 14, 1987 7:46 PM
I'm sure you are right except that I read a lot off bulletin boards and I doubt I could read at 1200 baud (forget about 2400!) I suppose I'd call at different baud rates to do different things. I have a question: I hear (read) a great deal about "fast…

From: Leslie T. Bartiromo The Amiga Forum · Hardware June 9, 1987 7:32 PM
I've heard the same story about the 500's from my local dealer too. I've been working long and crazy hours and may treat myself to an Amiga 500 or 1000. Could you explain to me what "Kickstart" is supposed to do? Why is it needed? I've heard that Scribble isn't…
