#File Trouble
9 messages in this thread
The file PORTR4.ARC does not download correctly for me. The transfer aborts
towand I must hang up to disconnect. Has anyone else had this trouble?
Leslie, I've had no problems downloading the file. This doesn't mean that
you are not experiencing difficulties though. Also, It seems as though your
message was truncated. CIS only accepts 132 chars per line. Anything beyond
that is lost. Please let me know exactly what is happening when you attempt
to DL the file. And remember to press <CR> every 80 chars or so.
When I download the file with Diga! toward the end of the file I get a flash
and the program just kind of dies. This happens at the end of the file
(sure, it couldn't happen at the beginning) twice and has never happened
before. Sorry about the message characters. I should have known better.
Leslie, I honestly don't know what the problem could be. There ave been at
least 33 DL's of the file. It was also checked before it was made public.
The only thing I can think of is possible line noise, or a problem with Diga!
not being able to DL a large file. Hmmmm….is there enough room on the disk
you are downloading to?

I was dlding on a blank disk. I'll try it again soon.
