Not likely that we will make an external PhonePak. Transmitting the voice data would be a heavy load on a serial port, even worse given that the Amiga serial port has no FIFO. Sorry, Paul.

Oops – wanted to make clear. PhonePak works in A2000 or A4000 without anything else, and requires the 16 bit memory mentioned only in the A3000.

Hi Joe. PhonePak will work in an A3000 if you have some Zorro II (16 bit) memory installed. This gets around the DMA problem I mentioned by allowing PhonePak to DMA to memory other than chip memory (thereby not trashing it).
