1) Pick a useless colour – say – magenta. 2) Design a palette which includes 1 magenta but no colours "near" magenta. 3) Use solid magenta as the background 4) Force this palette on the render Bingo! You should have a hard-edge around the sprite. Glyn Williams

1) Pick a useless colour – like magenta 2) Design the palette avoiding near magenta colours. You should have only 1 magenta in the palette. 3)Force a palette on the rendering process. . Render against a solid magenta background. This should give you a "Hard-edge" to the sprite. Glyn Williams

My point is a cut-down, low cost version of 3DS would sell very very well. There are a lot of people out there interested in making pictures for their own reasons. Amiga people do not buy SCULPT or Turbo Silver for producing professional video. They do it for fun. Glyn…
The Amiga market shows that modest 3D renderers are very popular. The trouble is they are not really very good. My suggestion is that Autodesk realease a 'junior' version of 3DS for the hobbyist market. Leave out the VCR control – 24 bit support and the broadcast quality images. Perhaps…
