Might be worth having a peek at some of the Matrox cards. I vaguely remember from when I was shopping for my beast, that they had some 3D specific hardware functions built in. I didn't buy one though, assumed that the Stealth would be better supported all round as it…
Panic over. Problem was combination of monitor memory settings being confused by either a game or by Windows. Some extreme manual adjusting seems to have cleared it for now. Thanks for your help, Nick
Are you out of interest using a 17" or bigger monitor ? I'm wondering if this might be my problem (but I'm frankly clutching at straws). Nick
Sorry, should have said, card is VRAM 4Mg (unless I've been ripped off). Does this still mean that there is no way round this problem ? Nick

Dear Keiron, I would love the address please, as, after having gone to the trouble of mugging a couple of old grannies to muster up some finance, I returned to the west end to find almost every book shop stripped bare of any sign of 3ds books !!! Dillons say…
I'll give it a go (if you haven't taken them all out already). Cheers, Nick
Dear Ralph, I'm afraid I haven't worked through your Flying Pigs tutorial yet. I started on the Glass + Reflections book as it's something I find a bit difficult, and the Animals Book as I couldn't resist trying to build a dragon (my Welsh blood). Yours is the next on…
I had some success with the Dillons just off Tottenham court road. They are hidden on the bottom shelf in a corner and they are around the L22 mark !!. Waterstones on Charing Cross Road had a couple of books from the series too, but not many. Dillons can order…
Thanks for advice. Tried Dillons and managed to find some of the 'Tips and Tricks' series which ( having now somewhat dented my bank balance), seem to be excellent. Maybe it's just the amount of whitespace on the page, but they feel much easier to read than the 'Inside 3DS'…
Thank you both, I'll give both ideas a go. See you on the Take5 section. Cheers, Nick.
Many thanks to all for your help. I'm off book shopping tomorrow (I only hope UK book stores are up to it). Will keep a lookout for the august release. Love Nick

Can you or anyone else possibly recommend a good 'teach yourself' 3DS book? Some are considerably better written than others and I was wondering if ADesk have put any out themselves. Thanks for your time, Nick.
Matrox compatability

Help…. Can you possibly tell me if the Matrox Impression Plus is a good choice of card to use with 3DS and are there any drivers available for it ? Is there a card you would recommend more ? Sorry to bother you, but I saw your name in some…
