Chris, I tried with no sound board, even tried the Windows speaker driver. No go. It has to have a board. I picked up the SoundBlaster Pro for $139 and love it. But then I wasn't going for great sound, just something for my daughter.

Is the format of the Kodak Photo CD something similar to PCX, GIF, or BMP to be read with some of the public domain viewers, or is another viewer required ?
Bruce, I haven't heard of World Library. Do you have any vendors you prefer for them ?

Bruce, So MUMG doesn't have an automagic mode like Just Grandma and Me ? That's been its _best_ feature. When you have a tired child in your lap, having a book that reads itself can be a wonder

Dan, I have the SoundBlaster Pro and a NEC 73. Any chance on setting up the CD to run audio through the sound blaster ?
