Lou, I just received my PhoneDisc from DAK two days ago. It is the SPRING 1992 edition. If you are ready to come out with the WINTER 1992 edition, shouldn't I have at least received the FALL 1992 edition? Thanks. -Robert
Bryan, I have not ordered from DAK for a while. My backorder for the PhoneDisc will put me on the mailing list so that I'll receive the new catalog of CD-ROM discs, right? -Robert
Only a week? Great. I'll look forward to receiving the CDs. -Robert
Thanks Bryan. I'll look forward to receiving the latest version. Do you have any idea when it will be finished? -Robert

Leonard, the DAK part number for the CD-ROMs only is #3299. It's $149. AND it's on backorder. I know because I ordered a set about two weeks ago! -Robert
Bob, Please tell me more about what is on "Magazine Rack". It sounds like a very interesting disc but I'd like to know what subject matter is covered. Thanks. -Robert
Allen, I read your message and have a question. I bought a Sony 7205 with the Sony Laser Library which includes Compton's Encyclopedia. I have never even seen an underlined word in the text! I don't have MME. Could that be the problem? Or are there different versions of the…
Chris, what do you mean by "CD popup on the Sony?" And how do I play track 2? I haven't found a place that sells MME yet but I'll let you know when I do. Thanks. -Robert
Thanks Dave. I'm going to go and buy MME and give "Beethoven" a try. -Robert
Thanks Jim. I guess I'll go and buy a copy of MME. From what others say, I should be able to run Beethoven from my 7205. -Robert
Thanks Dwight! I'll check the earlier messages. -Robert
Keith, my version of Compton's Encyclopedia has sound, such as a fragment of a Kennedy speech and Beethoven symphony. Does that qualify it as a multimedia version? -Robert
Thanks David…but just how does one change the hex byte?? -Robert
Thanks Keith. Do you know if the MPC kit will work with my Sony 7205? I remember someone here on the forum mentioning that Sony said that the 7205 is not compatible with MPC or something like that. Would that mean that I wouldn't be able to use a sound…
Thanks David. Even if I get MME do you think that "Beethoven" will work with my Sony 7205? I've heard that it has trouble with MPC. What do you think is the best sound card? -Robert
Multimedia Windows
Message #17135
I just purchased Multimedia Beethoven: The Ninth Symphony to run on my Sony 7205 and found that it won't run because I don't have "Multimedia Windows." I have Windows 3.0 and thought that it would have worked with it. What is the difference between the two? Do I have any…
