I have an A500 with a dead DF0:. Recently I can no longer activate icons on the desktop without the whole system freezing. Any ideas? Programs run fine from menus and docks etc.

I have an A500. The DF0: no longer appears to work. I do not get a disk icon with a disk inserted but I can still hear it clicking? Has any one got any idea what may be the problem?

I finally got my SCRAM 500 to work with ASIMCD (upgrade of eprom on scsi controller) but ASIMCDFS does not seem to recognise a change of CDROM. Is this true? How can I get version 2?

I got scsiutil from here and can play audio Cds, get capacity etc but cannot read. My supplier is trying to get ACIMCDFS v2.0 as this may support the SONY CDU 6411.

I have just installed ASIMCDFS (V1). I have a 500 with SCRAM 500 SCSI controller. I am using a SONY CDROM but nothing will recognize it as being there (SYSINFO hangs when scanning bus). Any suggestions?

Thanks but I found the problem. The controller rom needed to be removed or else I can just turrn the drive off, then on before use. Works fine now.

I have just got a pioneer 6-disk cdrom changer. I installed the driver and mscdex as per manual. Mscdex says I have 6 drives but when I do a DIR I only ever get the first drive. Can anyone help?
