The Sony does come with an 8 bit adapter, at least as shipped by Gateway. It's just that it doesn't work with NT, even though claimed to.

I'm not either. I do seem to have heard that Corel did some of the SCSI drivers.

So, I guess that the Sony CDU-31a is then not supported, or at least not certified. Is this correct?

OK, but I heard that the Sony CDU-31A did in fact have a proprietary connector, and it certainly doesn't look like the standard SCSI.

Does anyone know if the Panasonic 7010 will work with Windows NT? It is my understanding that Corel licensed some of their SCSI code to Microsoft.
