CD-ROM under Windows Message #29555
From: Ronny Ong CDROM Forum · DOS, Windows, OS/2 October 27, 1992 9:02 AM
Anyone got any ideas why my Windows 3.1 under DOS 5.0 can't read CD-ROM's? I tried clean booting from a minimal AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS. DOS outside of Windows and DOS boxes from within Windows can read the CD-ROM's fine (DIR and COPY files), but File Manager is unable to select…

#Mitsumi Driver Message #28304
From: Ronny Ong CDROM Forum · General October 10, 1992 1:08 AM
Anyone know how I can get the latest (I hear it's 1.5) drivers for the Mitsumi internal (a.k.a. El Cheapo) drive? I'm basically happy with this product, considering that I didn't expect much for the money, but Mitsumi was awfully careful not to put any information about contacting them anywhere…
