I kept thinking of the operator looking at the screen on the Sparcs for 8 hours a day & me being the operator for the first six months! The application has to have color but 32 of em is plenty. I think the black backround might have been the problem;…
Thank you very much!
My eyes are a little odd. Interlace isn't fun but is only intolerable with certain colors or a lot of one pixel lines. I also picked up a lot of strange looks at a trade show recently by telling people I thought the display on there SunSparc2s was poor. What…
The colors I used to get were perfectly good although I normally change them every few months. The Pagestream colors I have now are quite legible and easy on the eyes. It just took me hours to get them. This on a program I have used heavily for a couple…
I agree with you completely on this. Ditto trying for useful colors in Pastream with a nn-flickerfixed Amiga. It's even worse with Prowrite. Tho 2.0 'look' is ok but looks only go so far. I think it's time to stop worshiping 2.0 and way past time for developers to talk…
Yes it is easy from the Pagestream side but the files from Prowrite have odd names. I'm not sure I can get PageStream to recognize PR fonts & vice-versa.
PageStream/ProWrite

I have the new ProWrite upgrade but haven't yet decided weather I will use it or not (The paper color thing mostly). How would I use the Postscript option with my PageStream set up? (Postscript fonts are in subdirectories of "PSFonts" instead of the system Fonts drawer).
I happen to have called Davidson & Assoc. today about there program "Math Blaster Plus" which is a good math practice program for grades 1-4. It's relatively bug free and fun but there is "no chance " of any upgrade. They seem real pissed about ever having put out an…
Good idea! I'll try it.
Speaking of ms-dos…I have had two people ask me this week if there is an ms-dos program that would allow them to read Amiga 880k disks Come to think of it; as a sometimes msdos user, I could use one of these too. Have you ever heard of such a…
If a macII is good enough on that side an Amiga with Mac emulator would be by far the cheapest. DTP is still a real battle on the Amiga but I thing PageStream is the best. The PageStream cross-platform import capability can't be beat.

I guess as long as the chips are cmos it doesn't matter who made them. Just something to keep in mind if problems ever develop. I shure hope ICD can figure something for the 2 meg. Agnus though. It's a nice upgrade path if I can work up to 6.5…
Plans is disappointing after a couple of sessions. The screen accuracy for placement of the cursor is poor. The explanation of how to use when you select a function, right on the screen, is nice though.
I have a 540 with 1.5 meg of which 0.5meg is the same model chips that were mentioned The unit seems to work just fine. It's really impossible for them to list all the model chips available. I don't like mixing chips from different mfg.s but in my case I…

Looking at the demo, "PLANSD", in new uploads. I don't see a zooming function. Anyone else checking this one out? Hard to belive they don't have one.
The autocad is running on various stations including Sun and IBM. I'll check on that Gif over in the Autodesk forum. Thanks for your help.
They are 'autocad' drawn screens or the file created by telling autocad to print the file. Afraid I don't know more than that. I'll try to find out more.

Anyone know of a utility to convert autocad screens to iff? I have an autocad file I can get into my Amiga but I need to get it into iff so I can use it in a paint program. I checked briefly in the autodesk forum but no soap. Btw…
I recently added memory to my system. I have an A500 with two floppies 1.5 mg 512Agnus. I would like to use the dictionary and/or thesaurus and still have room for data files on two disks. Can I get ProWrite to recognise that the dictionary is in RAD: and use…
Yea, here it is…Sound4.lzh. It even does stereo.
There are some mouse driven pd players. I can't remember which one I have but I'll check. I just reassign the icon and then rename it for new ones. Tool types should be able to link them.
