Jack, PMJI but could the Compucolor be the same as a ColorComputer or CoCo from RadioShack? I had one of those. Even added extended basic! (WOW! the technology!) But I couldn't afford the 500$ floppy disk drive!!! How times change… Martin "not a bit nostalgic over paying 500$ for a…

Angelo, I think North Pole is in Vermont. When I watch the local NBC channel in Montreal it says: "Channel 5, Plattsburg, North Pole, Burlington" (this is a fact! Go figure…) -Martin "still trying to figure it out geographically"TM Alix TM: "…" is a trade mark of Greg Pyros
Thanx for the quick reply, Greg, looking forward to those demos. PS I'm reading your reply time as being 3:05 AM! Do you _EVER_ sleep? -Martin Alix
> But keep watching this space for another group of 15 IPAS routines, coming > soon! Greg, What is 'soon' and can we get a taste of what will be in them? -Martin "always lookin' for more IPAS" Alix
You should check out the GRAPHDEV forum here on cis, I think there's a program called 3DPLAY (and others) there that might do the trick. Anyways, somebody in the VR lib there might help you more. -Martin Alix

Hi Michael, Maybe it's too simplistic, but have you tried playing around with the continuity, e.g. setting it to 0? Just a tought. -Martin Alix 🙂
Thanx for the answer, Gary, I'll try. -Martin Alix P.S. I've received that litterature(if it can be called that ) that you sent me on IPAS's. Thank you, I'll save my money and order a few packages as soon as possible. MA
I believe you'll find what you are looking for in the GRAPHDEV forum, just browse all the libraries with DXF as a keyword. I think there's a file called GIF2DXF or something there. Good luck -Martin Alix
Hi Ralph, I'm fairly new to 3DS but I know it does not incorporate refraction indexes. That's what basically differentiates a diamond from glass. (Correct me if I'm wrong anyone) If your project is not too large and if you have the time, you could use a ray-tracer program (like…

Hi, Two small questions: 1- I am trying to make an object passing by become transparent using the video post and two flics, one with the first texture and the other with a transparent texture mapped onto them. I tried fade in/fade out but the screen just fades to black:…
Marco, >There is no way to display an animation with a higher resolution than 320X200 >in 3DS. I don't know why, but I am able to look at my 800x600x256 .FLC flics in 3DS's render/view/flic command. Try it… (using rcpvesa.exp) -Martin Alix
