Message #98666
We too have our .9 Flyer. All is working as promised, but we have been unable to use any audio clips is a project. All we get is a quick "bzz" sound, and the project continues beyond the clip. Is anyone else having the same problem?

It's five times faster than an A4000/040. Yes it will work on a 4000/030- in fa fact, you have an advantage due to the lower investment ($) in your CPU.
The Magnavox monitor requires a special cable in order to work with the Toaster. (It's due to a difference in the way composite sync is sent). Your dealer shod be aware of this, and should carry the proper cable. If not If not, give me a call at Microtech (708)…

We go the official word today. Yes, Paul Montgomery has left… as well as Kiki, and a few engineers. The reason given to us was "a difference in direction. The company is growing in one direction, and Paul was going in another".

Message #71590
Is there currently an upgrade in the works for ImageF/X so it will take advantage of the power of the EGS Spectrum board? Also, I notice your latest adds for the Spectrum tout a new paint program.. "Spectra-Paint…formerly EGS Paint". Is this merely a name change, or has the program…
The Toaster is very picky about any kind of WB Utility. The only thing you can do is try it out…
There are still ALOT of Toaster 2.0 users out there, so I think you can still count on support for some time to come. Newtek has stated , however, that any future HARDWARE enhancements will only be for the Toaster 4000 board, so eventually upgrading will become a "neccesity". As…
From what I understand, NewTek is awaiting the availability of the RS4400 chips. It doesn't appear that release is anticipated until March. We expect to hear more detailed info at the dealer meeting this Saturday.

I use the same system…AG1960's with Amilink CI/VT. I've been generally happy with the 1960's, and like Amilink very much (except for the documentation…err lack of…). Be careful about buying mail order however; you'll save some $$, but will most likely be dissappointed when it comes time for support or…
