From: Brian Yamanaka Amiga User Forum · Emulations September 17, 1990 4:58 AM
To whom it may concern, I seem to be experiencing a *lot* of difficulties while trying to install Whap! 1.9c on my 3000. This is an unvalidated version of Whap and I am awaiting re-validation as my last copy was 1.8. Symptoms are: 1 – Under 2.0 the select message…

This is in regard to a note I posted earlier about problems that I was having with my 286 bridgeboard and Amiga 3000. Well, all seems to be well now. After reinstalling my bridgeboard and playing with the placement of the Binddrivers command there is no problem. The binddrivers just…

I need suggestions on installing a 286 Bridgeboard in an Amiga 3000. The big problem arises when trying to find the best way to keep the 5 1/4" drive. Can anyone suggest the best external drive case and power supply? I'm looking for: 1) something that matches the 3000's case…

#MacDMCS Message #361
From: Brian Yamanaka AmigaArts Forum · Audio/MIDI July 20, 1988 12:05 PM
Does anyone out there know if Mac DMCS 2.0 files are compatible with Amiga DMCS files? If not, is there some simple conversion that needs to be done? I want to download some scores, but want to save the trouble (and connect time). Thanks for any help, Brian

Thanks. I'll ask around in the MIDI forum, but Amiga owners seem scarce there, or at least they don't say very much. Brian

I'm mainly looking for special interest groups that I can contact for software and patches for the MT-32 in addition to those people on CIS. I would especially like info about groups in Hawaii (where I live) and in Illinois (Urbana-Champaign where I go to school). Brian

I am currently using only DMCS. My sequencer software is back at the ol' U of I while I am on summer vacation. Usually I use Soundscape, but I'm not completely happy with it. It could use a more friendly MIDI event editor. I guess we all have to wait…
MT-32 Wish Message #166
From: Brian Yamanaka AmigaArts Forum · Audio/MIDI July 14, 1988 6:35 PM
I've recently purchased a Roland MT-32 and am looking for a good and inexpensive patch editor/librarian. Anyone have any ideas? Right now I'm just playing with presets and what great presets they are. Also, does anyone know of anywhere I could get some great support for the Amiga and MIDI?…
Hello/EA Message #86
From: Brian Yamanaka Amiga Vendor · Forum Business July 13, 1988 1:31 PM
Where is Electronic Arts?? Or do they have their own forum somewhere on CIS. I have the most problems with their products… DMCS especially. Maybe someone can help me with it. It doesn't want to recognize my expansion RAM and refuses to coexist with Workbench. It is the first release,…

Hello….. Thought I'd drop a little message… Glad to see the Amiga warrants having three forums. Now that I'm dabbling in C programming, I'm glad to see that it has its own library. I'm going to need lots of help since this is my first try in C. Brian

Thanks for your input, I've come to the same conclusion also. I just wanted to have a way in using the IBM side for running a bulletin board while continuing to use the to use the Amiga side. I guess it would be better to buy some cheap clone. Brian
