Jamie, I got to jump in here and say "That kicked butt"! The video was just recently sent to the ATC I teach at in the evenings. I just finished up a 3D Applications class and just had to throw that one in at the end. Everyone was taken back…
Ken, I missed the start of this thread; could you tell me more? Can you give me a phone number perhaps??? Mark Scott
Larry, I know, that was my point to Brad Z. Mark Scott
Brad, Again, when did you think that Release 12 was going to be available? I didn't think that windows would be that far along… Mark Scott
#Release 12 Menu's
Message #33672
Brad, I think it common knowledge that Rel.12 will be going to some type of GUI, but what will happen to the current menuing system's (specifically the tablet menu)? I'd like to be able to plan ahead a little if I can. I have created an "intelligent" tablet menuing system,…
Brad, You said >>I believe the AutoCAD For Windows product distribution plans for Release 12 are under discussion at the moment.
Tony, Yea, Duff told me… I don't know if he understood my question either, but he told me the same thing you did… Thanks again for the help… Mark Scott

Duff, Yea Duff, I'm wanting it to act just like the DTEXT command does, where you can EITHER pick the text start point or enter a J for justify (etc). I need to give the user the ability to re-configure something on the fly if need be. I suppose I'll…

Tony Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought… booo. I don't think I'm gonna do what I wanted to do then. Using (grread) would add too much overhead to my application. Mark Scott
ACAD.PWD on Networks ??
Message #33523
David, Copying a "clean" copy of both the acad.pwd and acad.cfg are exactly what I'm doing. It would take to long to have to look up the authorization code, get into the file menu section (especially since AutoCAD usually get's kicked out anyway) and then to key in the code.…
ACAD.PWD on Networks ??

Steve, Yep! Sorry to say, but that's what it looks like… BTW, is Mac related to Ronald? (red hair, big feet, etc)
John, You can't do that. When you purchase (let's say) Release 10 and then Autodesk upgrades to Release 11, you don't "buy" a new copy of AutoCAD keeping the old one, you "trade it in" so to speak (upgrade). If someone does try to sell you an older release, your…
Jeff, Thanks for the help… For some reason, however, I've been having alot of problems with AutoCAD on the network (Novell). We have about 20 people using AutoCAD from a Novell server. In the past couple weeks I've gotten calls every other day about the PWD file. I get onto…

All, I'm looking for a TSR that will capture all keyboard Input and write those characters to a file in addition to allowing the input string to be processed by the computer. Anything like this available? Mark Scott
