I've been told by several sources that drives that use a caddy will be fine mounted vertically; mine works fine this way so far. The caddy-less type don't work so well, as it's hard to get the door slid in before the CD falls out!

I'd expect to get quite a run around from TEAC, but the Corel option is interesting. I've seen a lot about the CorelSCSI package, but never used it for anything. Is it somewhat hardware independent, i.e. referring more to the controllers? In other words, Corel will address the FDC controllers,…

Robert: Don't find anything formal here, but I assume from a thread in this section that you represent Future Domain Corp.? If so: Just got a TMC850 kit, BIOS is 8.2, and the PowerSCSI! software kit; CD is a TEAC CD-50, which I realize is not on the 'compatible drives'…
