My question >>I will be starting an ER project soon where I will have on the order of 10 images that will morph into one another. In other words, #1 will morph into #2, then #2 will immediately morph into #3, which will then morph into #4, etc., in a…

#Windows error
Message #4206
I made a morph in AVI format, and opened Media Player to play it (I tried it both insided ER and outside ER). I keep getting an error message only on ER-produced AVI files, as follows: Application Error MMTASK caused a General Protection Fault in module MSVIDEO.DLL at 0008:16C8 I…

Chris, Thanks for the input. I hadn't found a reason to use TJ yet, so now I guess I will. Thanks. Mike

I will be starting an ER project soon where I will have on the order of 10 images that will morph into one another. In other words, #1 will morph into #2, then #2 will immediately morph into #3, which will then morph into #4, etc., in a continuous fashion.…
Thanks for all your responses. I hope that before I figured out what I was doing wrong that I didn't have a lot of people scratching their heads, wondering if there was some hardware conflict or something. Every time I 'play' with the program I get amazing results. I am…
#Pres.er
Message #3011
Oops. While doing another morph I found out why the red and blue lines were not disappearing in Previow. I was clicking on the A / A/B / B roll buttons only once. I needed to click on one of them twice in order to turn off all the buttons…
I have a #9GXE64 card w/ 1MB DRAM. The red and blue lines went away when I did my own morph, but not with pres.er. Mike Smith
Correct. The shapes will not disappear when any of the A / A/B / B roll buttons are selected at the top of the screen. Mike Smith
#Pres.er – lines won't go

The red and blue lines which define the shapes in the image (all of them). Mike
Excuse my ignorance, but what is DPS PAR ? I come from a video background and am just learning the digital end. How much does it cost, how does it output, and what hardware does it record to ? Mike Smith Blue Sky Photography
Pres.er – lines won't go
Message #2685
I just ran through the pres.er example from the Getting Started manual. After I rendered the preview I did step 8 (pg 5-6), to View the results. However, clicking on the A, B, or A/B image roll buttons does not remove the lines from the images. The lines went away…
#ER Example in New Media
Message #2582
In this December's "New Media" magazine there's a great How-to using ER to warp between the magazine's two rating icons — a cartoon character giving thumbs up, to same character in 'awesome' pose. There's some great techniques and copious illustrations and explanations. It's a good example of a the kind…
Excellent! Glad to hear all that. Hope I didn't come across as complaining — only making some (selfish) suggestions. Again, great software. Mike Smith Blue Sky Photography
#ER Output?
Message #2517
I have been doing tape-based (S-VHS) for years, but I am really just getting started with digital images that I would like to get onto video tape. I have a Pentium 90 system and want to get some of my ER work onto video tape. I am interested in hearing…

I bought ER last week and am having a good time learning it. I was pleased to find ER support here on CS. I think that's a big step toward being a truly GOOD software product. I just read almost evey message posted to date (I know — get a…
