You obviously do not have a clue about running a business. A support organization in a company is very expensive to operate. GVP clearly didn't have the resources to keep their phone support going in the end. I assume you hadn't noticed that GVP didn't have any new Amiga users…

I don't see how. Flyer data is stored on drives connected directly to the Flyer as I understand it, thereby not permitting I/O at the "file" level. I think all I/O is still via the video connector, i.e., analog audio. Hope I'm wrong though.
Problem is, the I/O is still in the analog domain, so layering between flyers would still be lossy. Or is there a digital buss connector of some sort for chaining them?
BTW, 6 months at 100K per week is 2.6 million not 1.3. It was funny to see your message because I'd done the EXACT same math myself recently. The idea of bringing in 100 engineers either way is an extremely lofty goal. Then there's the developer support staff, the marketing…
