#WTB: PIM software
Message #189769
Does anyone have a registered version of a good personal information manager such as "On the Ball" or "Home Mgr Pro" they would like to sell cheaply? Also, any recommendations on other "PIM" favorites would be appreciated. Regards, Tony Surfin' CIS via Autopilot… from North Carolina :{)
Henry, I have an extra copy of BattleChess lying around here somewhere from past Amiga swaps/trades if your other deal falls through. Make me an offer for cash/trade…. Regards, Tony Surfin' CIS via Autopilot… from North Carolina :{)

Arthur, I am using an A3000/25/WB3.1 system and would like to add 24-bit display capabilities as "inexpensively" as possible. The FC24 boards appear…
NEED Firecracker24 info!
Message #182021
Is anyone using a Firecracker24 video card that could give me a rundown on it's features and WB3.1 compatibility. I primarily want it to display 256 color GIFs and 24 bit video stuff. I am debating purchasing a used one and any information (Pros-or-Cons) regarding this board would be appreciated.…
#Firecracker & WB3.1???
Message #181808
I have an opportunity to purchase a used Firecracker 24 video board. Does anyone know if this board is compatible with an A3000/WB3.1 system???? Any info or user comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tony
Frisco, I too am looking for a 24bit card for my A3000/WB3.1 and have ruled out the Retina ZII/III at least until they upgrade their WB3.1 compatibility. I am almost ready to bite for a PicassoII because of the many positive WB3.1 compatibility reviews I have read. Just seems a…
Jay, Check here in the libs for SCRAMMER and/or SCSI_Prefs. Both let you play around with the HD boot-up delays on the A3000 plus some other interesting system parameters. I prefer SCRAMMER, just be sure to read the Docs carefully before changing any parameters that you are unfamiliar with!! Careless…
I'll second the recommendation for the Multiface III. I have one in my A3000 and it works great. Tony
Stock Tracking PGM
Message #174329
Can anyone recommend a good "Stock/Mutual Fund" tracking program for the Amiga? I am looking for one that can be configured to automatically update the daily data from CIS Basic Quotes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tony
Greg, Glad to hear you got the CDROM back online. As for the larger size of the MWB icons, that is another bad habit of MWB and the Commodore OS which by default saves way too many bit planes of color data for each icon (at least for my A3000).…
I had the same experience with Magic WB when I first installed it. It has nothing to do with unplugging your powered-up CDROM (although that could cause other more SERIOUS problems). The new MWB look is nice but the 1.2 upgrade seems to change/delete the tooltypes for some of the…
