Thanks for the info.. Yes I'm using Cross-Dos for file transfers between clone and my Amiga. The AscII xfer system is workable and I have been doing something slightly better by writing out a WKS file directly from Excel/Win which it supports. However, both this and the CSV formats leave…

Graeme, I just thought that in all fairness I should mention that I have been using Messy-Dos for some time and it has worked flawlessly. I use it on both 3.5" and a 5.25" disks and transfer files easily. As mentioned, you can continue to use the drives for both…

I've been messing around with my workbench display for a couple of hours I seem to be able to customize my entire display except for the Ram Disk Icon. Any ideas on how to access the .info file for this would be greatly appreciated Many thanks, Paco

format 1.2 Message #46585
From: Clark Carr DDJ Forum · Off the Cuff January 1, 1987 12:28 PM
I finally received a copy of workbench 1.2 but whenever I format a disk I get an error message telling me that the format failed. (Return code # 20) The disks seem to work fine, but does anyone know what this error is?
