Graeme, I just thought that in all fairness I should mention that I have been using Messy-Dos for some time and it has worked flawlessly. I use it on both 3.5" and a 5.25" disks and transfer files easily. As mentioned, you can continue to use the drives for both Amigados and MS-dos. The one advantage of Cross-dos is that it will let you read a MS-Dos harddrive partition from the Amiga side. I have not been able to get this to work with Messy-Dos. I also had terrible trouble finding MessyDos on CIS. I couldn't think of a keyword that would dig it up, but I seem to remember that it was in the Amigatech section under the system-files library. Hope this helps. CMC

Messy-Dos will not write to disks under 2.0 on my A3000, which makes it quite useless to me. Any attempted write will lock up the floppy drive(s).
